History and Experience
TIC (Turf & Irrigation Contractors Ltd) was established in 1995 by the current Directors Geoff and Belinda Andrew, to provide an irrigation installation service to the sports turf industry.
TIC rapidly expanded from its initial undertaking to also encompass golf course and sports turf construction and bulk haulage of sports turf aggregates.
In 2004, in response to growth and increasing demand on services, the company was restructured into TIC Golf and Sports Group Ltd, which was comprised of 3 companies; TIC Projects Ltd, TIC Contracting Ltd and TIC Haulage Ltd.
In 2007 Geoff and Belinda set up head office in the South Island enabling them to focus on golf construction throughout New Zealand.
Then in 2010, the General Manager in Auckland took over the ownership of TIC Contracting Ltd and TIC Haulage, allowing Geoff and Belinda to concentrate on large scale Golf construction projects throughout NZ and golf upgrades and
reconstruction works in the south. TIC Golf Projects Ltd manages the construction of new golf courses and re-construction of existing courses.
